87.37 Cluster is a pendant light from Bocci designed by Omer Arbel in 2017. The lamp has 37 pendants that hang in a grouped configuration, height is adjustable to a maximum of 300 cm. The pendant measures approximately 30-50 cm in height and 11,5-24 cm in width and the manufacturing is done by hand making each one unique in proportion, size, and shape. A malleable mass of glass is stretched and folded over itself several times before cooling. Air trapped inside the glass gives the piece an optical quality resembling mother-of-pearl, and at one end of the loop is placed the lightbulb which emits a soft, pleasant light. The 87.37 Cluster mounts conveniently with a jack that plugs into the ceiling mount. The round bracket is made of white lacquered metal. The cables come standard with a maximum length of 300 cm and are pre-set during production, so they cannot be adjusted later.
