Sam Office is an office chair from DUX, based on Sam Larsson’s original design from 1973 and presented here in a limited anniversary edition. The chair is fully upholstered in olive-tanned leather, creating a cohesive and tactile expression where the seat, backrest, and armrests are all enveloped in the same material.
The naturally tanned leather, made from by-products of the olive harvest, has a soft surface that develops a deeper patina over time in warm, earthy tones. The seat features deep button tufting and shape-retaining padding, contributing to both comfort and visual structure. A decorative buckle on the back adds a subtle detail to the overall design.
The chrome-plated base with five castors and adjustable height makes Sam Office adaptable to contemporary work environments. As an anniversary edition, the chair is produced in 100 individually numbered pieces, where material choices and construction come together to form a functional piece with a distinct presence in the room.
