Maap W2 is a wall lamp from the Italian brand FLOS. Designed by Erwan Bouroullec in 2026, it is part of the Maap series and is a wall-mounted fixture with diffused light. LED light sources are mounted on an iron support attached to a round iron backplate, while the lamp body consists of an ultra-light, durable fiber material. The shade is held in place magnetically against the metal frame with large magnetic buttons and is intended to be shaped manually by crumpling it during installation.
The construction combines geometry, natural structures, and low weight in a surface that functions as a broad light source. The paper-like membrane structure creates a form that varies depending on how it is manipulated, giving each installation its own expression. The wall lamp spreads a soft light over larger areas and is suitable for placement in living rooms, corridors, or public environments where light distribution is key.
