Easy Chair 01 is a lounge chair from the Danish brand Frama. The model is a further development of Chair 01 and is a stripped-down alternative to the upholstered armchair. The shape is low and geometric, with a focus on proportion and clear construction.
The armchair is built with visible mortise and tenon joints that highlight the craftsmanship and allow the joints to become part of the expression. The design intervenes minimally in the natural properties of the material and emphasizes the structure of the wood. Over time, the armchair develops its own patina, where variations in oil and grain are a natural part of the whole.
