Symmetry sofa

Symmetry is a sofa from FRAMA, designed in collaboration with Copenhagen-based designer Nikolaj Lorentz Mentze of Studio 0405. The two-seater sofa is built around a clear functional idea, where each element is reduced to its essentials, with a form grounded in an architectural approach.

The construction in naturally oiled ash creates a warm and tactile feel while providing a stable yet visually light frame. The seat is upholstered in a light linen fabric that adds softness and contrast to the structure of the wood. The combination of materials gives the sofa a balanced expression where simplicity and detail interact.

As part of the Symmetry series, the design follows a consistent formal concept where proportions and lines are central. The sofa is suited to a variety of environments, from private living rooms to public spaces and offices, where its restrained expression contributes a calm presence.
