Libelle Bench is a garden bench from Grythyttan Stålmöbler, designed by Andreas Engesvik. The bench is part of the Libelle series and is characterized by a modern design language in fully welded steel – sleek but robust. The Libelle series is designed with a focus on form and function in outdoor environments. The backless bench follows the same design principles as the rest of the series, with a graceful but durable expression. It can be placed as a solitaire or combined with the table in the same series for a complete outdoor group.
Designer Andreas Engesvik is a central figure in contemporary Norwegian design, with commissions for, among others, Iittala, Muuto and Ligne Roset. He has been awarded international prizes such as the Red Dot Award and the Bruno Mathsson Award.
