For optimal use and to prevent the wax from melting irregularly, let the candle burn until the wax has melted and settled at the edges. Use the lid to extinguish the candle and allow the candle to solidify before lighting it again. Trim the wick before using the candle: it should be max 6 mm. Protect the surface on which the candle is placed and let it burn for a maximum of 1 hour and a half after the candle has gone out.
