Korn Salvia 530 Wool Rug

Korn Salvia 530 is a plain-woven rug from Kasthall, designed by Cecilie Manz. The rug is woven in a broken twill pattern that gives a graphic surface with low shine and subtle movement. It is one of several models in the Landskab collection, where the structure and color of nature have been leading references. The material consists of 80% wool and 20% linen in the weft, with a warp entirely in linen. The yarn has been developed specifically for the collection to achieve the right surface tension and light reflection. Korn is woven in several fixed sizes but can also be specially ordered with dimensions between 70 and 600 cm in width. Kasthall's production in Kinna has been ongoing since 1889 and is an important part of the authenticity of the design. It is a rug for rooms where every detail counts – a surface to both see and feel.
