Losanges is an elegant rug designed by brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for the Nanimarquina brand. It is a reinterpretation of the traditional Persian carpet in kilim technique but in a modern take and with a unique shape. The name of the carpet, Losanges, means rhombus in Spanish and that is what the pattern is all about. This geometric rhombus pattern contains 13 different shapes, requiring complex technical skills from the craftsmen and is a challenge to produce. The hand-spun Afghan wool adds to the complexity of the rug and makes each rug unique with its own specific color tones. Losanges is available in two different sizes, 165x245 cm and 230x300 cm.
