Nemo Lighting was established in Milan in 1993, and is today one of the world’s leading lighting companies. From the very beginning, the ambition was to create hypermodern lighting, and Nemo Lighting’s roots are in the strong, innovative power that has always distinguished Italian design.

Lighting for every need and mood

Among all the classics, one stands out – Projecteur 365 by Le Corbusier, available in several versions for both indoor and outdoor use. The concept of “Useful forms,” which Charlotte Perriand helped develop in 1949, permeates her design philosophy. A clear example is the table lamp Pivotante à poser, featuring a dark grey steel base and three parts in lacquered aluminium, two of which can be rotated to direct the light as needed.

Perriand did not see lighting as decoration, but as functional tools – an approach that makes her minimalist design timeless and flexible.
Nemo Lighting is world-renowned for its “Masters Collection,” featuring iconic designers such as Le Corbusier, Franco Albini, Charlotte Perriand and Kazuhide Takahama.

At the same time, Arihiro Miyake represents a more contemporary direction for the brand. His Drop Lamp is characterized by a light and airy construction of slim aluminium rings held together by cables, creating a floating effect. The lamp becomes a striking focal point, especially in rooms with high ceilings such as a hallway or living room. It comes with integrated LED and a 2.5-meter cord.
In 2016, Nemo Lighting received several prestigious awards from the ADI Design Index and Compasso d’Oro, including for Projecteur by Le Corbusier as well as models such as TRU and Giò.
