Switch 206 is a lamp designed in 2007 by the Japanese designer Nendo for Oluce. The table lamp is a reinterpretation of the archetypal lampshade lamp by updating its material and function. Switch 206 is made of metal and is available in black or gold. The table lamp can be turned on and off by turning the cylindrical metal lamp shade. Switch 206 is a good example of Nendo's efforts to combine form with function, aesthetics and functionality. In addition to Switch 206, the Switch lighting range also includes the Switch 306 floor lamp.
