Cocotte desk lamp

Cocotte desk lamp is a desk lamp from the French brand Serge Mouille. Designed by Serge Mouille in 1957, the model belongs to the Formes Noires series and represents a compact approach to functional task lighting. The lamp is built on a tripod base and features a reflector shaped as a slightly oval ogive, giving it a distinct profile. A ring integrated beneath the base allows the lamp to be hung on a wall and used as a wall or bedside light. The reflector can be adjusted using a small brass ball joint, enabling directed illumination. The structure combines a steel body with an aluminum reflector, available in black or white finishes. Cocotte desk lamp is suited for desks, side tables, or smaller workspaces where flexible lighting is required. The design accommodates multiple uses within a compact form. Each piece is manufactured in France according to the original drawings and issued as a numbered edition with a certificate of authenticity.
