Carl dining table Ø115 cm with extension leaf from Stolab is designed by Swedish designer Marit Stigsdotter. The table is a tribute to Carl Malmsten and his classic Lilla Åland, evident in the generously rounded edges and soft profile. The rounded apron gives a gently flowing expression reminiscent of traditional Swedish craftsmanship.
The table features turned legs that are slightly splayed for stability, with a design language that connects to Malmsten’s furniture tradition. The tabletop has a beveled edge that clearly marks the transition between the top and the base. The Carl table is made from solid birch or solid oak and comes in a range of colors. It can also be customized with an extension leaf, making it suitable for both everyday use and larger gatherings.
