String metal shelf is a shelf from the Swedish brand String. It is part of the flexible String System, designed by Nisse Strinning in 1949, and can be freely combined with the other parts of the system. The shelf is made of perforated metal and has a low edge of 2 cm, which allows it to be visually integrated with wooden shelves in the same set. The assembly is done in wire or plexiglass end panels with corresponding depth, and the shelf can be easily moved if necessary. The perforated surface makes it possible to add accessories such as hooks, rods or spears to customize the storage. It can be used in the kitchen, hallway or workplace where both open structure and function are important. Each package contains one shelf.
