Meditation is a stool designed by Carl Malmsten and produced by Tre Sekel. The model was originally produced in 1956 on commission from Dag Hammarskjöld for the UN headquarters in New York, where eight copies were placed in the so-called Meditation Room. The name originates from this commission. To mark the 125th anniversary of Malmsten's birth this year, a numbered edition of 125 copies has been produced. The stool is made of oak with a seat in braided seaweed.
