Moon Pendant, designed by designer Verner Panton in 1960 and now produced by the Danish brand Verpan, is a ceiling lamp that exemplifies Panton's design philosophy. The lamp consists of metal lamellae which together form a spherical shape, similar to a fan. Panton's characteristic use of soft, round shapes combined with harder, more austere materials is evident in this design. The Moon Pendant is not only a light source but also an artistic expression, typical of Panton's work, both in furniture and lighting.
