Inspired by Gerrit Rietveld's Zig Zag chair from the 1930s, Verner Panton designed the now-iconic Panton Chair dining chair, which has evolved into the next generation chair, System 1-2-3 Dining Deluxe. This classic dining chair was designed in 1973, also by Verner Panton, upholstered in VOSS foam, covered in tufted Kvadrat fabric with an aluminum base.
System 1-2-3 Dining Deluxe comes from the System collection, which consists of dining chairs, lounge chairs, and a mirror and a clothes rack. The S-shaped dining chair is available in a choice of fabrics by Kvadrat with a round or butterfly base.
