Shogun was designed by Mario Botta for Artemide in 1986 and has become a modern design classic. The design language revolves around contrasts in color, shape and light. Shogun has a cylindrical lamp base in metal, painted with black and white stripes. On top are white-painted convex shades made of perforated steel sheet, which can be easily adjusted and thus change the expression of the lamp. The perforation of the shades means that Shogun spreads an atmospheric play of light and shadow. The table lamp becomes an eye-catching detail for the interior and is suitable as spot lighting in, for example, a hallway or living room. Light source not included.
