En Forme Libre is a table by Cassina, Italy, designed by Charlotte Perriand in 1928 and reintroduced in 2011. Originally created for her studio in Montparnasse, the table reflects a free approach to form in which function and movement take centre stage.
Its organic silhouette is free from sharp corners, instead defined by soft, irregular lines that create an inviting and dynamic surface. The rounded legs follow the flow of the tabletop, contributing to a cohesive composition in which every detail has been carefully considered. The shape encourages different ways of gathering around the table, offering flexibility in how it is used. En Forme Libre serves as a natural focal point in both dining rooms and living spaces. With its open form and carefully balanced proportions, it offers a harmonious balance between function and expression, allowing the design to be both practical and exploratory.
