Monocle Outdoor Footstool is a footstool for outdoor use from Belgian Ethnicraft. The footstool is designed by Jacques Deneef and is part of the Monocle collection, where it serves as a complement to the series' modular sofas.
The frame and legs are made of solid teak, which is delivered without surface treatment or protective treatment to preserve the natural character of the wood. The cushion is upholstered in 100% polypropylene and filled with medium-firm quick-dry foam, adapted for outdoor use.
The footstool can be placed in front of or next to a sofa module and used as a support for the legs or as a complementary part in a lounge group. The footstool can be combined with the modular sofas from the Monocle collection and placed on the terrace, patio or in other outdoor environments. Clips for connecting with sofa modules are included, which makes it possible to attach the footstool to other parts of the collection and keep the furniture together in the chosen configuration.
