Nomad Cream Rya Rug

Nomad is a rya rug from the Swedish brand Nordic Knots. The rug was developed in collaboration with tattoo artist Erik Lööf from Stockholm Classic Tattoo Studio and draws inspiration from traditional Nordic nomad tattoos. It is part of the Nomad collection and is hand-knotted in a rya design with a pile height of 42 mm, which provides a dense and soft surface. The material consists of 100% wool from New Zealand, which contributes to a durable quality with an even structure. The design was developed in Stockholm and each rug is handmade in Bhadohi, India, in small editions where each size is available in limited numbers. The product is Goodweave certified.

As a rya rug, it is perfect for living rooms, bedrooms or other areas where a rug can define the room. The high pile gives a clear presence in the room and interacts with both neutral and more expressive interiors.
