Ryya 01 Lilac Rya Rug

Ryya 01 Lilac is a wool rug designed by Swedish Nordic Knots. As a modern interpretation of the Scandinavian rya tradition, the rug is part of a collection where colored yarns are combined to create a melange texture with a clear structure. The rug is hand-knotted with a 25 mm pile and made of 100% wool from New Zealand, which gives a balanced feeling between softness and durability. Production takes place in Bhadohi, India, in small editions where each size is available in limited numbers. The rug is Goodweave certified.

The rya rug is perfect for living rooms, bedrooms or open spaces where the volume of the textile contributes to the room without dominating. It can be placed as a central surface or under furniture to define zones.
