Antony Limited Edition 2025 is a limited edition armchair from Vitra designed by Jean Prouvé in the early 1950s. It was created by the French designer and engineer for the Cité Universitaire in Antony outside Paris. Production began after Prouvé won a competition to furnish 150 rooms in what was then Europe's largest student residence. The armchair is one of Prouvé's last designs and the first piece of furniture to be included in the Vitra Design Museum Collection. The armchair's metal frame has a structural similarity to the Compas Direction table from the same brand, with a transverse tubular bar stabilizing the legs while two sheet metal brackets cradle the elegantly curved plywood seat shell.
This limited edition comes with a shell made of plywood and pine veneer treated with hard wax oil and a base of sheet steel and steel tubes powder-coated in the color Prouvé Rouge Corsaire.
