Compas Direction is a desk from Vitra. The desk was designed by Jean Prouvé in 1953 and is based on a base whose angled legs are reminiscent of the arms of a compass, “le compas” in French.
The construction combines a tabletop in solid wood with a base in bent sheet steel. The steel base has a smooth powder-coated surface and is available in several colors.
The desk has dimensions that make it suitable for working at home and can be used as a desk in a home office, study or other environments where a defined work surface is needed.
