Toru is an electric citrus juicer in stainless steel from Alessi, designed by Nendo. It is part of the Toru series, characterized by black, tubular elements seamlessly integrated into the design. These elements function as spouts or handles, creating a visually balanced composition. The name "Toru," meaning "through" in Japanese, reflects the series' concept of interconnected details and materials. The design highlights Alessi’s craftsmanship and approach to stainless steel, with a composition of distinct volumes and carefully considered functions.
