The Table 80B Curly Birch Exclusive Edition, developed in collaboration with Artek for the Nordic Gallery, is an elegant and versatile table that combines form and function with an exclusive touch. Made of Masurian birch, also known as silver birch, each piece has a unique grain that creates a vibrant and personal surface. This rare birch variety grows mainly in Karelia in eastern Finland, giving each table a distinct and personal touch.
Designed by Alvar Aalto in 1933, Table 80B functions as both a stylish desk and a compact dining table for smaller spaces, measuring 60 x 100 cm. Aalto's innovative L-leg system, which eliminates the need for complicated connections, is a signature of his design. With a minimum of components, transportation is both sustainable and efficient. The table is part of an exclusive four-piece series and is sold only at the Nordic Gallery, as part of a carefully curated range for design enthusiasts.
