Tizio 35 is a table lamp from Artemide in Italy, designed by Richard Sapper, featuring a construction introduced more than 50 years ago that remains as thoughtful and relevant today as ever. The lamp is based on a balanced system of movable arms with counterweights, where the structure both supports the lamp head and conducts electricity without visible cables.
The adjustable arm provides precise and stable movement, allowing the lamp to be positioned effortlessly with one hand while maintaining perfect balance in a variety of positions. The light source has been upgraded from low-voltage halogen to integrated LED, delivering 3.3 W of power and a luminous flux of 191 lumens. The light is focused and functional, with a CRI of 80 that is well suited for work and reading. Tizio 35 is part of Artemide's collection and is regarded as an icon of Italian design. Its combination of technical innovation and consistent design makes it a lasting addition to both professional workspaces and private interiors.
