The dining chair 412 Cab was designed by the architect Mario Bellini and was put into production in 1977. The design is timeless and consists of clean lines that speak for an elegance, which means that the chair fits in both living room and dining room or in offices in both private and public environments. The chair is made of a steel frame covered with polyurethane foam and has a leather upholstery that is available in a wide selection of colors and leather types. The Cab chair is one of Cassina's best-selling products and part of the installation at MoMA in New York. 412 Cab is part of the Cab series from Cassina and is included in the I collection I Contemporanei from the year 2008.
