Mex Square Low is a coffee table by Cassina, Italy, designed by Piero Lissoni in 2006. It is part of a collection of low tables where geometric clarity meets transparency, developed for living rooms and social spaces.
The table combines clean lines with a distinctive profile, pairing a glass tabletop with a base available in a range of finishes, from lighter tones to deeper shades. The clear or tinted glass surface creates a sense of visual lightness, while the 4 cm high matt black metal base lifts the structure from the floor, creating a floating appearance. Vertical support panels are integrated into the design, forming practical compartments for storing books, magazines, and smaller objects. The Mex Square Low coffee table can be used as a standalone piece or combined with other shapes and sizes from the collection, allowing for flexible arrangements and varied interior compositions.
