Suspension Demi-Grande Volière is a ceiling lamp designed by Mathieu Challières. The handmade lamp consists of copper-plated metal and is designed as a cage with birds in different colors and sizes. The birds consist of real feathers and are made by hand by Challières, making each specimen unique. This medium-sized lamp fits perfectly in most spaces; The hall, the nursery or why not the guest room?
When Mathieu Challières launched the Volières series in 2006, the design world had never seen anything like it. Even today, it is completely unique in its kind and has become iconic in modern design all over the world. The series includes both wall, floor, ceiling and table lamps in several different sizes and designs.
