Kartio is a carafe from the Finnish brand Iittala.

The Kartio series was designed by Kaj Franck in 1958 and is based on his aspiration to reduce design to its most basic elements. Through a balanced relationship between material and geometric form, the series has become an established part of Nordic design. The carafe is made of glass at Iittala's glassworks in Finland and holds 95 cl. The shape is simple and functional, developed for daily use and to function in many different contexts.

The carafe is suitable for serving water, juice, wine and other cold drinks, both for everyday use and for special occasions. The clear glass quality highlights the contents and makes it easy to combine with different types of tableware. For a uniform table setting, it can be used with other parts from the Kartio series.
