Merkurius Candlestick

Merkurius Candlestick is a candlestick from the Swedish brand Klong. The candlestick is designed by Synnöve Mork and was developed through experiments with folded paper strips, where form, movement and volume were explored before the construction was transferred from paper to metal. The result is a spherical shape built in stainless steel, where the material's reflective surfaces capture and spread the light from the flame.

The candlestick changes expression depending on the angle of the viewer, as the different metal surfaces interact with light and surroundings. The candlestick can be placed on a dining table, side table or other surface where candles are used as part of the lighting and interior design. It can be polished with chrome shine, for example Autosol, if necessary.
