Serpente from Martinelli Luce is designed by the founder of the brand Elio Martinelli and was introduced in 1965. Elio Martinelli has dedicated his entire career to enriching both public environments and the home with functional and beautiful lighting such as Serpente.
The name Serpente comes from the Italian word for snake, which is reflected in the shapes of the floor lamp's curved structure, with a rotatable fixture for adjustable light direction. The floor lamp is made of lacquered metal with a methacrylate shade. The entire shade lights up when the lamp is turned on and the lamp spreads a warm white glow in the room. Comes with a black cord.
In 2015, the Serpente table lamp was also introduced in a gold-plated anniversary edition to celebrate the lamp's 50th anniversary.
