Fronda is a ceiling light from Stilnovo, Italy, designed by Pio & Tito Toso in 2026. This version features twelve branches extending outwards from the centre of the fixture to form an airy, organic composition. The slender, flowing forms draw inspiration from branching structures found in nature, giving the ceiling light a graphic appearance with a distinct sense of movement.
Each branch ends in a point of light fitted with Fronda’s double domed diffuser. It consists of an opal diffuser with a softly curved form that extends above and below the point of light. The construction provides soft, pleasant light distribution while also highlighting the fixture’s decorative appearance. Fronda with twelve branches and a double domed diffuser features phase-cut dimming, allowing the light intensity to be adjusted with a compatible dimmer. The combination of the branching structure, twelve points of light and rounded diffusers integrates light and form within the same construction.
