The Byarum armchair, designed by the Swedish company Byarums Bruk, is inspired by the station sofas of the 1860s. Nicknamed because they were commonly found in railway stations, these sofas were known for their decorative design and gave travelers a chance to rest. This historical background has influenced the design of the armchair, giving it a timeless and classic feel. The armchair is part of the Byarum series, which recreates the historical elegance and functionality of the station sofa.
