Rivet Side Table is a side table from the Danish brand Frama. It was designed by Jonas Trampedach in 2011 and is part of the Rivet Series, where the construction is based on a special riveting technique.
The table is made of raw, laser-cut aluminum sheets that are joined by hand with hammers in a cold forming process. The circular table top is divided into three levels, creating a varied and functional surface for storage or display. The table can be used as a side piece or as a pedestal for objects in different environments. The construction can withstand a load of up to 15 kg and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
The untreated aluminum surface means that scratches and natural variations can occur from the start. Over time, the material develops a patina with marks and shifts without rusting or deteriorating.
