Klonk Door Knocker

Klonk Door Knocker is a door knocker from the Swedish brand Klong. The door knocker is designed by Viktor Erlandsson Studio and is a modern interpretation of a traditional door fitting, where older objects with historical roots have inspired the shape. The stripped-down design is adapted to contemporary architecture and combines the practical function of the door knocker with a clear detail at the entrance.

The door knocker is made of brass and is used to signal arrival through the physical gesture of knocking on the door. The construction makes the door knocker both a functional fitting and part of the entrance design. The brass is varnished, which means that the surface does not need to be polished. For ongoing maintenance, the door knocker can be wiped with a damp cloth if necessary.
