The Elmetto table lamp was designed by Elio Martinelli in 1976 for Martinelli Luce. Elmetto, which means helmet in Italian, clearly describes the lamp's design with the angled shade on a cone-shaped base.
Elmetto is an excellent lamp for small spaces such as on the bedside table, next to the sofa or wherever it is needed at the moment. Thanks to the adjustable shade, the light can be both direct and more subdued.
