Landala is a dining table from Tre Sekel, designed by Emma Olbers, made of solid star-sawn pine with standing annual rings. To reduce the natural yellowing of the pine, the wood is whitewashed before being treated with white oil. The construction is demountable and the table has self-designed wing nuts. Landala was awarded the Furniture of the Year 2016 award by Residence. The design is based on the idea of a functional and space-efficient table for both meals and work, with narrower dimensions, rounded edges and well-thought-out proportions.
