La Cupola is an espresso machine from the Italian brand Alessi. The espresso machine is a design icon, now available in a new version suitable for induction hobs. It was designed by Aldo Rossi and went into production in 2025. The espresso machine symbolizes the exquisite dialectical relationship between architecture and the home that Aldo Rossi has explored over the years.
The model is made of cast aluminum and has a plastic handle and knob, here in light blue. The construction has a magnetic steel base that makes the espresso machine suitable for use on induction hobs. This new version retains the shape of the original model while the base has been adapted for induction.
