Monocle Outdoor Modular Sofa is a modular sofa for outdoor use from Belgian Ethnicraft. The sofa is designed by Jacques Deneef and is part of the Monocle collection, a modular system where the sofa parts can be combined in different configurations.
The frame and legs are made of solid teak that is delivered without surface treatment or protective treatment, which preserves the natural character of the wood. The cushions are covered in 100% polypropylene and have a filling of medium-fast quick-dry foam for outdoor use. The backrest has a density of 28 kg/m³ and the upholstery has a Martindale value of 60,000 revolutions.
The Monocle Outdoor Modular Sofa can be adapted to the design of the patio by connecting several modules together with the included clips. The module is equipped with floor protection, has no adjustable feet and requires no assembly. For the care of the untreated teak, Ethnicraft's maintenance instructions for the outdoor collection are recommended.
