PI console table

PI is a console table designed by Alain van Havre with the wood’s natural forms and variations at its centre. The design draws on the material’s existing lines and curves and character and combines them with a pared-back and balanced silhouette.

The console table features a long narrow tabletop and a sculptural wooden construction with organic lines and deliberately irregular details. This gives the PI console table a lively appearance in which the natural wood grain is a distinct part of the design. Each console table is finished by hand to preserve the wood’s individual qualities. Variations in grain and texture and form are therefore a natural part of the piece and make each one unique. PI Console is part of the PI collection by Alain van Havre and serves as a simple surface for personal belongings and decorative objects.
