Buds 3 is a pendant lamp from Foscarini, Italy, designed by Rodolfo Dordoni in 2016. The compact size is combined with a softly rounded silhouette in which blown glass takes centre stage, giving the lamp a distinct material expression.
The shade is made of blown glass using an artisanal five-layer process. The multi-layered construction gives the glass a rich depth while also contributing to a warm, soft light that spreads into the surroundings. The combination of the clean form and the character of the glass gives Buds 3 a balanced and cohesive expression. The Buds 3 pendant lamp is available in two dimmable versions: one with a replaceable E27 LED light source and one with integrated LED. The version with integrated LED can be dimmed via PUSH or DALI, allowing the light to be adjusted using a momentary push button or connected to a compatible lighting control system.
