Tutu wall lamp

Tutu is a wall lamp from Foscarini in Italy, designed by Valerio Bottin in 2001. It is characterised by its soft, flowing form in blown glass, reminiscent of a light drape, giving the fixture a subtle presence on the wall.

Its adjustable design allows the lamp to be mounted facing upwards or downwards, creating two distinct lighting effects. The light is distributed both as a defined upward and downward wash along the wall and as a warmer, more diffused glow through the glass into the room. This combination creates balanced illumination that works equally well in both residential and public settings. The Tutu wall lamp is crafted from blown glass with metal and aluminium details. The choice of materials contributes to a carefully considered design where form and function work in harmony, while maintaining the lamp’s light and cohesive expression.
