Between Lines Deck Chair is an outdoor lounge chair from Fritz Hansen in Denmark, designed by Danish furniture designer Stine Weigelt. The chair is part of the Between Lines collection, characterised by a calm, pared-back expression with a focus on comfort, quality and durability.
The design is a contemporary interpretation of the classic American Adirondack chair. Long, angled lines form its distinctive silhouette while being positioned to create a comfortable and relaxed sitting position. Between Lines Deck Chair is made from teak, a natural material that develops a silver-grey patina over time. Stine Weigelt’s practical approach to design is based on exploring the interplay between material, form and function by testing and working directly with the materials. Her interest in how natural materials change in colour, form and surface is naturally reflected in Between Lines Deck Chair. The distinct design language and reclined construction make the chair well suited to relaxation on a terrace or in the garden.
