Herb jute rug Brown is a handwoven rug from the Spanish brand Nanimarquina. Through collaborations with weavers in India, Nepal, and Pakistan, Nanimarquina combines traditional craftsmanship with a strong focus on environmental awareness and materials consciousness.
The design is created by Nani Marquina and is part of the Herb collection, which highlights jute as a natural, biodegradable material with distinctive character. The fiber is grown without chemical fertilizers and used without chemical treatment, preserving its coarse texture and tonal variations. The collection emphasizes the natural expression of the material rather than refining it into a uniform surface.
Herb Brown features a muted brown tone that enhances the earthy qualities of jute. The rug has a dense, low pile and is intended for dry indoor environments. It is suitable for both private and public spaces where natural materials and tactile simplicity are desired – such as living rooms, entryways, or work settings.
