Moonmilk is a perfume from the brand Stora Skuggan. It has top notes of black tea and lime and heart notes of cardamom, lily of the valley, mandarin and black pepper. The perfume's base notes consist of sandalwood and leather. The product is vegan and is handmade in Stockholm.
The inspiration for Moonmilk comes from the Swiss naturalist Conrad Gessner's book Descriptio Montis Fracti sive Montis Pilati from 1555. In the book he tells of his journey to the top of Mount Pilatus and of the caves of the Alps.
