It was designed by Nisse Strinning in 1949 and is a supporting part of the modular String System , where each part can be combined and expanded over time. The wall ends are available in two heights, 50 cm and 75 cm, and in depths of 20 cm and 30 cm. They are screwed directly to the wall and leave the floor and ceiling free, which makes them particularly adaptable in small or complex rooms. The end ends serve as a structure for attaching shelves, cabinets and other parts from the collection. The system can be expanded with accessories such as organizers and s-hooks, which are hung directly on the end ends for increased functionality.
