Stone Portable table lamp

Stone Portable is a portable table lamp by British designer Tom Dixon, crafted from solid white marble with a distinctive weight and a tactile, cool surface. The combination of stone and gold-coloured details creates a balanced expression, allowing the contrasting materials to stand out without feeling overworked.

The design is defined by a solid outer marble ring that surrounds the light source, creating a floating appearance. The light is softly diffused, forming a subtle halo effect around the ring that provides a warm, atmospheric glow rather than direct illumination. The integrated LED light source is controlled via a built-in touch dimmer, making it easy to adjust the brightness to suit different settings. As a portable table lamp, it can easily be placed wherever light is needed while maintaining a stable and substantial presence thanks to the weight of the marble. The overall design is both functional and thoughtfully considered, with the choice of materials and form working together to create a quiet yet distinctive expression.
