The Altar Candle scented candle from Byredo will be re-released in 2020 with its unique fragrance and iconic glass cover. The brand's founder Ben Gorham says the candle's scent evokes his real-life winter memories of family dinners in Stockholm, so he feels compelled to relaunch the candle and be reminded of the secret of family life.

Altar Candle is made in France and features cotton wicks and comes in a hand-blown glass box. The candle's scent has overtones of clove and bay leaf that transition to the heart of Ylang-Ylang and carnation. The base of the fragrance consists of guaiac wood and Haitian vetiver. Altar Candle has a burn time of approximately 60 hours and spreads a pleasant and welcoming fragrance in your home.
